Rhiannon Reid Client Engagement Manager at 24 Productions
Originally from Bristol and a marketing management background, Rhiannon Reid (formerly Davies) returned to education to study photography at 24. She then worked as Advertising & Corporate Manager at the world-renowned artists’ cooperative, Magnum Photos for nearly 6 years, heading up the advertising, corporate and fashion assignment representation for the London office. Rhiannon recently joined 24 Productions in an exciting new position as second to the Director, Bianca Anton. 24 Productions is a highly respected and worldwide, stills, moving image and events Production Company that was founded 7 years ago by Bianca Anton.
Diane Smyth Deputy Editor, British Journal of Photography
Diane Smyth is the deputy editor of the British Journal of Photography, the oldest photography magazine in the world. She has also written on photography for Aperture, PDN, Guardian.co.uk, Thetimes.co.uk, The Telegraph’s Telephoto site, Creative Review and Philosophy of Photography, and is currently working on the introduction to Dana Popa’s forthcoming book. Diane has reviewed portfolios at the Rhubarb-Rhubarb International Photographic Review, The Whitechapel Gallery, the National Media Museum and University College Falmouth, and helped judge the National Portrait Gallery’s Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize in 2009. David Sykes Photographer David’s talent for photography was nurtured whilst studying Graphic Design at college. Upon completion of a photography degree in Kent, David moved to London to assist the successful advertising photographer David Stewart. A year later, David went on to win the AOP Still Life Assistant Award (1998). From then on, despite full-time assisting on shoots around the world, David was in demand, and receiving a number of his own commissions. In 2001 he decided to go it alone, and he was subsequently featured once again in the AOP Awards with his Pig series in 2001 and his Faux food series in 2010. Other awards include featuring in four D & AD awards being include in the 2009 campaign photo awards and in the creative review photography awards 4 times. He has been a busy, successful advertising photographer ever since, notching up an impressive client list including Visa, Persil, Lurpak, Heinz, Hellmann’s, BT, American Express, Starbucks, Honda and Monocle Magazine. Jim Naughten Photographer
Jim Naughten was awarded a painting scholarship to Lancing College and later studied photography at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth. He began photographing portraits of remote tribes in Africa and the circuses of India before adopting a more narrative approach to his work. Re enactors heralds a return to documentary portraiture, this time using post production techniques to create a powerful collusion with his subjects and composite images mixing landscapes with action scenes. He has presented five solo exhibitions at the Coningsby and HotShoe galleries in London, Klompching in New York, Barbara Frigerio in Milan, also group exhibitions at The Mall Galleries, The Poole Museum, AOP gallery and National Portrait Gallery. He has won numerous awards from the Association of Photography, a Yellow pencil from D&AD and been included AI-AP 24, Creative Review Photography annual and The National Portrait Gallery’s Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize. His work has been acquired by the Imperial War Museum in London.
Ed Webster Creative Producer, 4 Creative Ed started his career in 1990 in the post room of GGT advertising. He spent the next 15 years working at various ad agencies and production companies learning the ropes on both on and off air productions and working his way up from Runner to Producer. In 2003, he joined Channel 4, who had just launched their in house agency and production company, 4 Creative. Since then Ed has been commiossioning Art Directors, Writers, Illustrators and Photographers to work across 4 Creative’s portfolio as well as producing the off air output. He feels that personally producing projects,allows him to be closer to the end creative product and creates a unique relationship with the Photographers. In the past 12 months, he has co written and directed several moving image projects with Photographers. Having worked with some of the best Photographers in the world, Ed also enjoys disovering new Talent - whether from the UK or further afield.
