The Call for Entries for the AOP Students Awards 2010 is now closed. The AOP Students Awards are the awards, which can launch you onto the photographic scene and get your career going.

One entrant will be crowned the AOP Student of the Year and they will receive a double page spread in the AOP Photographers Award book, a day’s work experience with a high-profile AOP member, extensive press coverage and as if that isn’t enough, we may also use their winning images to promote the AOP Students Awards and AOP Student membership for the following year.

All the finalists’ winning images will be exhibited in a 2-week exhibition at the AOP Gallery, in London. There are usually around 90 images in the exhibition including photographs by the Student Photographer of the Year and Merit winners, who will receive certificates at a Private View, the Student Awards Night.

This year there is an online entry system in place to receive your entries, which is accessible from the Awards website: www.the-awards.com. Entry is open to UK & Overseas full time photography students.

12th May 2010 – Students Awards Night
11th May – 22nd May 2010 – Students Awards Exhibition at the AOP Gallery
